Illuminating life’s possibilities through empowerment opportunities

About LCRC

The purpose of the Light Community Resource Center (LCRC) is to serve as a community equipping station and to foster community engagement in the areas of Education, Economics and Empowerment.

LCRC is a 501C3 non-profit organization born out of the outreach work started by The Light Community Church and continued emphasis on three major areas: educational empowerment, employment empowerment and economic empowerment. While these three E’s can overlap and intersect, all of them are equally important in our homes and communities at large.

Through intentional school partnerships, empowerment classes and training for all ages, we provide resource connections and strategies for everyone to live a more abundant and fulfilled life. Focusing on economic, educational, and employment empowerment also allows for more equitable opportunities to diverse audiences.

LCRC designs and provides its services and programs to support people of color but does not discriminate against anyone who would like to partake of what we have to offer and meets the appropriate guidelines. As a nonprofit organization we are not tied to any religious practices or doctrines.
